Description du contenu de l'enseignement
An effective protection of Human Rights requires compliance with the case-law of International Courts and Bodies, reflecting an essential principle of the Rule of Law. The manner in which States are ready to abide by international jurisprudence is a major challenge for the protection of Human Rights and the credibility of International organizations. In addition, conflicts and wars raise the question of whether there is a role to be played for certain organizations, the purpose of which is mainly to protect Human Rights in times of peace. New solutions need to be devised, as the relation between International Human Rights Law and Humanitarian Law intensifies.
