Description du contenu de l'enseignement
In this course the student should acquire the basic knowledge in grid generation for CFD and CSM as well as data visualization.
Visualization :
Streamline, Streakline, iso-surfaces, cut plane visualization, basics of signal processing (Fourrier Transform, Proper Orthogonal Decomposition, Wavelet).
Mesh generation:

Mesh generation:
- Structured grids, unstructured grids;
- Geometry generation : points, simple lines, interpolated lines, surfaces, extrusions, projections, intersections, junction, geometry modifications ( translation, rotation, symmetry ...), geometry importation from CAO/DAO;
- Mesh generation : segments, surfaces, extrusion, grid refinement, orthogonality, smoothing, aspect ratio, non matching grid, multibloc grid, butterfly grid, control if unstructured grid generation...
Compétences à acquérir
- To be able to generate a suitable for a given physical problem.
