This lecture aims to develop the basics of corporate finance. In this context, the course is based on the concepts studied during the first year of bachelor degree. More specifically, the lecture focuses capital budgeting allowing to introduce cash flows forecasting and investments valuation.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to :

- (level 2) discuss the issues of financial decisions faced by companies' managers.
- (level 1) recognize the challenges linked to companies' financial management.
- (level 3) apply corporate financial management tools to practical situations.
- (level 4) dissect the strengths and weaknesses of a company's financial situation through financial diagnostic.
- (level 5) plan the present and future cash flows of an investment decision.
- (level 6) recommend financial orientations in order to improve or fix the concrete financial situation of a company.
