n the course, the students will get to know the major commercial documentation (commercial, customs, export and transport).
A description of the Incoterms will be given. The different payment mechanisms will be exposed, an overview of the risks and the tools to mitigate risks will be explained.
A first introduction to the construction of a Supply agreement (general content, review) will be presented. Finally a global approach to the understanding of the international environment will be shared.

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to
- (level 1) Describe the different terms used in a commercial transaction
- (level 2) Explain the different steps from the start of the commercial process up to the completion of the transaction
- (level 3) Prepare a basic requirements document to initiate a quotation process
- (level 4) Point out the specific contractual obligations of a basic sales agreement
