Objectives in terms of knowledge (course content):
- Simulating in life sciences: introduction to modelisation,
- the derivatives in biology,
- know how to carry out studies of functions applied to biological systems (ecology, genomic, epidemiologie, …),
- know how to simplify a biological model by the use of Taylor expansion,

Compétences à acquérir
Objectives in terms of skills:
The student will be able to solve and analyze basic equations describing simple biological mechanisms (gene regulation, bacterial growth, drug evolution in blood system, process optimization, dating, …). He/she will master simulations of biological systems, a usefull approach to better understand those studied systems, to test hypothesis, to anticipate futur behaviours and to simplify a biological problem to make it communicable,
