Objectives in terms of knowledge (course content):

CM
- The mechanism of translation: what is needed for translation (components and actors), the process, differences in pro- and eukaryotes and what is the product of translation
- Post-translation: protein modification, trafficking, gene regulation, quality control
- Engineering: IRES, 2A peptides, fluorescent tags
- Methods to detect proteins: IHC/IF, purification, WB, IP/Co-IP, ChIP/ChIP-seq, Microscopy and FRET
- Group work

- Understanding and acquiring of the mechanisms linked to the dynamics of gene expression in a cell (prokaryotes and eukaryotes) at molecular and cellular levels
